Breakfast Ministry
-This ministry consists of members who have been anointed and gifted by God in culinary arts to plan and prepare nourishing breakfast every Sunday morning to get our membership ready for our High Energy Praise and Worship services.
Caribbean and International Club Ministry
-The Caribbean and International Ministry are members who have immigrated from Africa, Puerto Rico, the Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern Caribbean Islands.
Deaconate Board Ministry*
-The primary function of the Deaconate this ministry is to serve. The Pastor appointed personnel of this ministry are the main support to the Pastor and the Laymen of MBC.
F.L.A.G. + M Club Ministry
– The FLAG+M Ministry are members who were born in Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia Or Mississippi.
Floral Club Ministry
-This ministry is an essential part in ensuring the beautification of the sanctuary each Sunday. The members are responsible for making sure that floral arrangements are secured for all Communion Sunday’s. They also assist parishioners to purchase arrangements in memory and/or in honor of their love ones.
Hospitality and New Members Ministry
-The Hospitality & New Membership Ministry is responsible for making all new members and visitors feel welcomed at the Majority Baptist Church at all times. The members of this ministry must be familiar with the MBC “By Laws” and most of all, be willing to show themselves friendly and approachable at all times.
It’s All Praise Dance Ministry
-“It’s All Praise” (IAP) Liturgical Dance Ministry consists of members who firmly believe that they are fishermen of souls through all artistic forms. It is the desire of these worshipers for the dance ministry to be seen as not just another venue to entertainment. It is the desire of the membership that the ministry be effective an ultimately lead someone to ask the question, “What must I do to be saved?”
Men’s Guild Ministry
-this ministry consists only of Men who are anointed by God and have a willing heart to participate in any special projects to improve the edifices of MBC.
Missionary Ministry*
-The Missionary Ministry is to aid the MBC membership and people worldwide who are in distress and are in need of prayer and other assistance.
Mother’s Board Ministry
– The Mother’s Board Ministry are members who have been appointed by the pastor to prayerfully intercede and advise others with wisdom of the Goodness of Jesus Christ and bare witness all of his Greatness.
Music Ministry
-The music ministry consists of the Gospel Chorus Ministry, Male Chorus Ministry, Sanctuary Choir Ministry, Juniors & Sunbeams Choir Ministry, the Walter A. Jones (WAJ) Progressive Choir Ministry and the Praise & Worship Ministry.
New York State Club Ministry
-The NYS Club Ministry is made up of members who were born in New York.
NIA Youth Ministry
– The word NIA means the purpose which encourages us to look within ourselves and to set personal goals that are beneficial to the community. The NIA Youth Ministry consists of young people who accepted Jesus Christ as their personal saviors. It also provides assistance and encouragement to other young people who haven’t accepted Christ as their personal savior.
Nurses Unit Ministry
-The Nurse’s Unit purpose is to serve and aide all parishioners who may need medical assistance. All members are licensed health care professionals and must be New York State CPR certified.
Pastor’s Aid Ministry*
– The purpose of this Ministry is to Aid the Pastor of MBC in his ministry by accompanying him when he’s spreading the Gospel at other places of worship and making sure that his material needs are met.
South Carolina, North Carolina & Virginia Club Ministry
-Consists of members who were born in South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.

Trustee Board Ministry
-The Trustee Board Ministry is responsible for all of the financial commitments of the Majority Baptist Church. All of the members of this ministry are appointed by the Pastor.
Usher Board/ Junior Usher Board Ministries*

Willing Worker’s Ministry
– This Ministry consists of members who possess talents to take on any special projects the church maybe asked to fulfill such as preparing and serving for Repasts’, Church Annual Picnic’s, and Fund raisers.

- Sanctuary Choir Ministry – This ministry genre is traditional Gospel music and songs from hymnals.
- Gospel Chorus Ministry – This ministry genre is also traditional gospel written and performed by the likes of James Cleveland, the Mississippi Mass Choir, Dorothy Norwood and more.
- The Sunbeam & Junior Choirs Ministries – These ministries membership range from the ages of 3 years old to 14 years old whose genre is contemporary gospel.
- The WAJ Progressive Choir Ministry – This ministry was renamed of after of Pastor emeritus Walter A. Jones (WAJ). This ministry genre is contemporary and who age group range from 15 years with no limit.
- The Praise and Worship Ministry – This ministry consist of members who have been appointed by the Pastor to lead the congregation in Scripture, Prayer, and Song to charge the atmosphere and prepare the membership for worship services.
